The ROG Maximus Z790 Hero EVA-02 Edition is the result of a new collaboration centered around EVA-02 and Asuka of the long-celebrated Evangelion anime series. After catching your eye with EVA-02’s signature red-and-orange theme and traces of green, the artistic flourishes keep coming: an AT Field design surrounds the CPU socket, and Polymo lighting on the I/O cover switches between Asuka and regular EVA-02. The backplate design showcases EVA-02 “The Beast” mode and Evangelion patterns, adding to the motherboard’s visual appeal. And as an ROG Maximus motherboard, it offers all the power, cooling, and flexible features necessary to elevate performance to the next level.
